I’ve had this Daisy planted in ground in zone 10a since April of 2022. Blooms lasted until early fall the first year. Started blooming again in January 2023 and hasn’t stopped. Plant has doubled in size over the last few months. Currently has a 4ft spread and 16” height. Rains weighed down some of the branches in winter which caused it to look split down the middle but the gap has been steadily filling in. It’s a beautiful plant that has required almost no maintenance aside from fertilizing. I use the proven winners liquid fertilizer every week or two spring - fall.

Maintenance Notes:Deadheading not necessary for continuous bloom. Plants will "bury their dead" (new flowers will quickly cover old flowers) so no deadheading necessary. Bright Lights Osteospermum do not like having wet feet and will react badly to constantly wet soil. Be sure to allow soil in containers to get dry on top before watering and only plant Bright Lights in ground beds with good drainage. While it shouldn't be necessary you can trim your plants with a sharp pair of scissors or pruning shears at any time.
A yearly application of fertilizer or compost on garden beds and regular fertilization of plants in pots will help ensure the best possible performance.

Two plants filled an entire 24" container! Blooms from early summer through to the last frost. Definite show stopper - and a more subtle, soft yellow than other varieties. Definitely will be growing again.

Love this annual. It gave the right amount/shade of yellow to pop several areas in our garden beds. It is November here on Cape Cod and it is still blooming. Going to use in clients' gardens next year.

My African Daisies are beautiful. I have them planted with million bells, purple fountain grass, and blue Mohawk grass in multi colored containers. They serve as fillers for my containers. They have many blooms and continue to produce blooms when the flowers self-deadhead. I'm sad that they are annuals and am trying to figure out how to save them during the winter. I'm in zone 5.
