I ordered and planted these in the fall. I cut the root balls in half to save a bit of money and spread the plant out around my yard. The leaves stayed green through an ice storm and many frosts afterwards. It’s now April 4 and they are blooming and so so beautiful. I wish I could include pictures. I’m very tempted to add the purple variation to my garden this upcoming fall.
