This is the first time I have planted this plant in my backyard garden. It was beautiful! It bloomed until Nov. 9, when we had our first snow. When we have brought flower cuttings inside to put in a vase, they have lasted weeks!

A large flowered red Alstroemeria with tall stems and a long season of bloom. Each flower has a prominent yellow central flare. Summer Heat has overwintered multiple seasons in Zone 6, and should be hardier when sited in well-drained soils with winter protection.
